PALLAS CAPITAL Corporate Solutions advises the shareholders of Elektronik Printing on the sale to Simplifia Groupe SAS, part of CAPZA.

PALLAS CAPITAL Corporate Solutions GmbH successfully advised the shareholders of Elektronik Printing GmbH on the sale of the company to Simplifia Groupe SAS, ensuring a smooth succession process.

Based in Mils, Tyrol, Elektronik Printing is a specialized system provider and comprehensive solutions partner for the funeral industry. Since 1995, the market leader has served more than 900 clients across the DACH region, offering tailored solutions that combine printing, technology, and digital media. Founders Walter and Hubert Mair have found a strategic partner in Simplifia  whose product and market portfolio ideally complements that of Elektronik Printing.

Simplifia is a leading European provider of innovative digital products and services for funeral directors and families. Each year, the company supports more than 1,600 clients and approximately 210,000 families across Europe. Capza, a French private equity platform, holds a minority stake in Simplifia and supports its continued growth. The acquisition of Elektronik Printing represents a strategically important step for Simplifia, strengthening its presence in the DACH region and enabling the rollout of its established French ERP system for funeral homes to German-speaking markets.

Maxime Nory, CEO and Co-Founder of Simplifia, stated: “Entering into a partnership with Elektronik Printing is really exciting for us. We have had a very similar journey in each of our countries and we share the same vision: to modernize the funeral industry, with new solutions for the benefit of both funeral homes and families. The solutions Elektronik Printing has already developed are impressive, we look forward to seeing how they can be used in other countries, as well as how we can contribute to the Austrian and German markets.”

For Elektronik Printing, this transaction marks a significant milestone. Through the partnership, the company’s customer base will benefit from an expanded digital end-to-end offering. The existing team will remain unchanged, while the two founders and former shareholders will continue to support and guide the company through its next growth phase.

Walter Mair, former shareholder of Elektronik Printing, commented: “With the Simplifia Group, we have found the perfect partner. The values that define Elektronik Printing (quality, innovation, reliability, and a forward-looking mindset) are equally embodied by Simplifia. The product portfolios of both companies complement each other perfectly, creating together a unique offering for the funeral service industry across Europe. We are excited to jointly support each other’s market entries and to foster synergies in the DACH region and in France.”

The transaction team at PALLAS CAPITAL Corporate Solutions included Maximilian Baar-Baarenfels, Hans Lassen (Managing Partner), Hanna Spolwind (Associate Execution), Jakob Schartelmüller (Associate Execution), Christian Wolff (Senior Analyst Execution), and Simon Kunz (Analyst Business Development). PALLAS CAPITAL provided comprehensive support throughout all phases of the transaction. Schindler Attorneys, represented by Florian Cvak, provided legal advice to the sellers.
